I don’t think it is on the table right now. I do not think that Ukraine’s NATO membership can be resolved in the short term.
I don’t think it will happen politically anytime soon—that is my fair assessment.
The question is: what would happen if China were to move against Taiwan? Why not first call your ‘junior partner’ in all of this—Russia—and ask them to keep us occupied here? So most likely, this would not remain limited to one region.

Someone says that it takes a year or a half to build new fortifications. But everyone forgets: first of all, it’s a year and a half. And even if it’s less, any fortifications in the field, and not in urban development, are completely different things. This can never be such a strong defense.
The withdrawal opens up space for the Russian Federation for major maneuvers. They can be directed both at Kharkiv and Dnipro, destroying our cities. And two large cities will be under threat, which, by the way, generate a large part of our GDP.
So many people died there… The morale of our army will definitely deteriorate. There will definitely be a split in society. An army that, of course, will not support such steps, separately – society separately. And the disintegration of society is exactly what Putin's main goal is.
In addition, 200 thousand people now live in the territories of Donbas that we are defending. Leaving does not mean saving anything. You leave and without any guarantees you can lose everything. And this is a big risk.

خبرگزاری رویترز گزارش داد درآمد روسیه از بزرگترین مالیات نفتیاش به دلیل بحران نفت و گاز ناشی از حملات آمریکا و اسرائیل به ایران، دو برابر خواهد شد.
از آغاز جنگ جمهوریاسلامی عملا تنگه هرمز مسیری برای حدود یکپنجم جریان جهانی نفت و گاز طبیعی مایع را بست، که باعث شد قیمت نفت خام برنت به بیش از ۱۰۰ دلار در هر بشکه افزایش یابد.
طبق محاسبات رویترز بر اساس دادههای اولیه تولید و قیمت نفت، مالیات استخراج مواد معدنی روسیه از تولید نفت در آوریل به حدود ۷۰۰ میلیارد روبل (۹ میلیارد دلار) خواهد رسید، در حالی که در مارس ۳۲۷ میلیارد روبل بود.
