روزنامه فایننشال تایمز روز چهارشنبه به نقل از دو منبع آگاه گزارش داد که چند ساعت پس از آتش بس موقت جمهوری اسلامی و آمریکا، خط لوله نفتی شرق به غرب عربستان سعودی که نفت خام را از خلیج فارس به دریای سرخ برای صادرات منتقل می کند، هدف حمله قرار گرفته است.
به گفته این منابع، یکی از ایستگاه های پمپاژ در امتداد این خط لوله ۱۲۰۰ کیلومتری، حدود ساعت ۱۳ به وقت محلی روز چهارشنبه هدف قرار گرفته است. این خط لوله در پی اختلال در کشتیرانی از طریق تنگه هرمز، به یکی از مسیرهای اصلی صادرات نفت عربستان تبدیل شده است.
یکی از این منابع گفت این تاسیسات با پهپاد مورد حمله قرار گرفته و میزان خسارات در حال ارزیابی است.
شرکت دولتی آرامکو عربستان، مالک و بهره بردار این خط لوله، از اظهارنظر خودداری کرده است.
