The Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive modern Tridon Mk2 air defense systems from Sweden, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported.

As noted by the ministry, these systems will help counter “Shaheds” and other aerial threats.

Sweden will allocate €400 million (approximately $430 million) for their purchase — almost a third of the new €1.2 billion (approximately $1.3 billion) military aid package announced in February.
