Sudan's military has appointed General Yasser al-Atta as the new chief of staff in what is described as the biggest command shakeup since the war began. Al-Atta is known as an outspoken critic of the United Arab Emirates and has advocated for the integration of Islamist groups into the Sudanese armed forces.

The reshuffle signals a significant shift in the military's internal dynamics at a critical stage of the ongoing conflict that has devastated large parts of the country.

Гибель трех человек во время паводка в Дагестане будут расследовать в рамках уголовных дел, сообщает пресс-служба СУ СКР по региону.

Так, возбуждено дело о гибели девушки и ребенка, которых вытащили из реки в Дербентском районе. В сообщении отмечается, что их достали из реки и доставили в медицинское учреждение, где они впоследствии скончались.

Кроме того, заведено дело по факту гибели женщины в селе Кирки Кайтагского района, где из-за оползней произошло разрушение жилого дома.

Оба дела квалифицированы по ст.109 УК РФ (причинение смерти по неосторожности).
