The losses of the Russian Armed Forces in March were the largest during the war, exceeding 35,000 soldiers, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

As a result of Ukrainian drone strikes alone, 33,988 occupiers were killed or seriously wounded, and another 1,363 were eliminated by artillery and other means. Additionally, 274 Russian air defense systems, warehouses, and logistics sites were hit.

Zelenskyy highlighted the effectiveness of the soldiers from the Central Military District “A” of the SBU, “Birds of the Magyar,” “Phoenix,” Lazar’s Group, and the 95th Brigade.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reported verified figures for each direction.

“Today, the minister and I agreed on a number of tasks for the coming weeks. In particular, we are preparing solutions to strengthen the Ukrainian infantry and the contract system in the army — the measures must be effective. We are also preparing solutions to scale the export capabilities of our weapons manufacturers and joint production with partners,” the president noted.
