На данный момент завершено 43% строительных работ на линии.
В рамках работ построят станции Аскеран и Ходжалы, а также железнодорожно-автовокзальный комплекс в Ханкенди (на берегу реки Гаргарчай, общая площадь комплекса составит 6,4 гектара).

Он отметил, что «все передвижения противника должны контролироваться с максимальной точностью, а при необходимости меры противодействия должны выполняться незамедлительно».
«Тень войны должна быть снята с нашей нации, и безопасность должна царить для всех. Недопустимо, чтобы одни районы были в безопасности, пока наш народ живет в небезопасности», — заявил Хатами.
