Spain is leading the effort to ban U.S. military bases involved in the aggression against Iran. 🇪🇸 🇺🇸
The Spanish government, led by Pedro Sánchez, announced on March 30 that it was closing its airspace to U.S. aircraft involved in the war against Iran and denying them use of the joint bases at Rota and Morón, justifying the move as an “illegal” action under international law. This decision has forced the U.S. to reroute its aircraft.
Other European countries have partially joined the Spanish stance. Italy also denied, on March 27, the use of the Sigonella base (Sicily) to U.S. aircraft for operations related to Iran. France, on the other hand, has not allowed aircraft bound for Israel and loaded with military equipment to fly over its airspace since the weekend, but it is more ambiguous regarding the U.S. 🇮🇹🇫🇷

🇧🇩🇺🇸 “The authorities are in a panic looking for oil products.” Bangladesh has asked the United States for permission to buy 600,000 tons of fuel oil from Russia due to an acute energy crisis resulting from the war with Iran.
The country imports 95% of its oil and gas, most of it from the Persian Gulf, but supplies have fallen sharply, writes The Daily Telegraph. Crude oil reserves are only 17 days away, while diesel and gasoline are also at critical levels.
In Dhaka, cars have been waiting in queues for hours at gas stations, universities are closed, civil servants have been ordered to save electricity, and transport is almost paralyzed.
Bangladesh has already received 60,000 tons of fuel oil from Indonesia, but is looking for new sources of fuel around the world.
