🇮🇹🇺🇦 Zelensky: I met with Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani.

We discussed the consequences of Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This is a global challenge for fuel, gas, and fertilizer markets, and we are offering our partners in the region our unique expertise to address these threats together. This is recognized both in Italy and across Europe, and this is important.

It is no secret that Russia uses every platform to whitewash its aggression, and we discussed how to counter such propaganda. We agreed that our teams will align their positions in this area.

We continue to develop cooperation between the institutions of our countries. I thank Italy for its support.

Министр обороны Украины Михаил Фёдоров сообщил, что запущенный в конце прошлого года экспериментальный проект по привлечению частного сектора к системе ПВО дал первые результаты.

На данный момент одна из компаний-участников проекта уже подготовила собственную группу ПВО, которая сбила несколько беспилотников в Харьковской области, в частности «Герань-2» и Zala.

Параллельно продолжается формирование новых групп ПВО ещё на 13 предприятиях, которые получили в министерстве обороны статус уполномоченного субъекта хозяйствования.

Частные группы ПВО получают вооружение и действуют под командованием воздушных сил.

К участию в проекте в первую очередь приглашаются операторы критической инфраструктуры – энергетические, транспортные, телекоммуникационные компании, предприятия водоснабжения и другие стратегически важные объекты.

US removed sanctions from three Russian vessels, including Sv Nikolay, which had been involved in transporting grain from occupied Ukrainian territories. Container ships Fesco Moneron and Fesco Magadan were also delisted.

🇺🇦 Zelensky: We see that many 🇮🇷Iranians around the world respect Ukraine and are grateful to us for not being silent about their pain and their desire to end the dictatorship and live freely. And we must all act to help them.

We feel that, despite all the disinformation, 🇺🇸American hearts have not become indifferent - they support those who fight for freedom, and they support us in our defense against Russian aggression.

Russia is investing in prolonging conflicts in the Middle East. Wars there make it easier to ignite this war here in Europe.

We have proposed a ceasefire for the Easter holidays. We hope that the United States will support this proposal. And we are waiting for Russia's response.

Zelensky urged EU to unlock the €90 billion aid package during talks with Kaja Kallas, calling it critical for Ukraine’s defense and broader European security. He also pushed for stronger pressure on Russia and progress in opening negotiation clusters for EU membership.

Ukraine’s FM Andrii Sybiha slammed Hungary’s Péter Szijjártó over his call with Sergey Lavrov, calling it “shameful reporting” to Moscow. He said the exchange should be subject to investigation, sharply criticizing Budapest’s stance.

Zelensky questioned why Ukraine still lacks full EU status, stating that countries in the Middle East and Gulf already view Kyiv as part of Europe. He said Ukraine’s contribution to global stability is widely seen as a contribution to Europe itself.
