"Commanders say that "they" are afraid to fight. And I know, as I did back in the 1990s, that this is guerrilla warfare. The terrorists are waiting and occasionally trying to sting...

"But mostly they are waiting for the large army to reach its lines, set up outposts and enter into a grueling routine. Then they will operate with the anti-tank missile, the mortar and the charges."

Unlike the 2024 war I feel more at ease in this one even though the Israeli goals are wider in Lebanon and involve a deep incursion into Lebanon and long term occupation

False hopes are wrong but prospects of any Israeli occupation has two outcomes:

1- A deal to withdraw
2- Withdrawal under the heat of daily attacks and often Israeli casualties in south Lebanon no matter how many months and years it takes

Eventually...either will happen and either will have good outcomes. There is no third option. None.

According to Russian sources, Ukrainian DRG units have been spotted in Temyrivka, Zaporizhzia region. Given the liberation of Berezove and recent AFU movement in Novomykolaivka, it is likely that Ukrainian units pushed further south/southeast. Capturing Temyrivka would cut the Velyka Novosilka-Huliaipole supply line and complicate logistics for Russian forces fighting in the area.
