🇹🇭🇮🇷 Thai Tanker Clears Hormuz After Iran Talks

A Bangchak Corporation-owned oil tanker crossed the Strait of Hormuz on March 23 following direct talks between Thai Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow and Iran's ambassador to Thailand. The vessel had been anchored in the Persian Gulf since March 11. Bangchak and a Thai Foreign Ministry source confirmed no payment was involved in securing the transit.

Sihasak said he requested that Iranian authorities assist in ensuring safe passage for Thai vessels and provide clearance upon submission of ship names.
