The team reported on what was really heard in Florida: accents, opportunities and difficulties. The most important thing is to work out security guarantees so that they allow us to get closer to the end of the war. Security is the key to peace.

South Korea's foreign ministry summoned Hirotaka Matsuo, deputy chief of mission at the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, to lodge a formal complaint after Japan's Ministry of Education approved a new list of high school textbooks for use starting next year. Most of the approved publications describe Dokdo — referred to as Takeshima by Japan — as Japanese territory.
The textbooks state that Dokdo was incorporated into Shimane Prefecture in 1905 and characterize South Korea's current control of the islets as illegal. South Korea's foreign ministry spokesperson Park Il called for immediate correction of what he described as distorted historical facts and baseless territorial claims.
The ministry also expressed regret over textbook passages it said dilute the coercive nature of wartime forced labor and sexual slavery by the Japanese imperial army during World War II. South Korea maintains a small police detachment on Dokdo and exercises effective control over the islets.

Средства противовоздушной обороны Эмиратов во вторник сбили пять баллистических ракет, запущенных Ираном, сообщило министерство обороны ОАЭ.
Кроме того, были перехвачены и ликвидированы 17 иранских ударных беспилотников.
Накануне Иран запустил по ОАЭ семь ракет и 16 дронов. Все они были перехвачены силами ПВО.
При этом в министерстве обороны отмечают, что количество ежедневных атак с начала американской военной операции против Ирана уменьшается.

Regierungschefin Inga Ruginiene teilte mit, der Vorfall habe sich im Zusammenhang mit einer Operation der Ukrainer gegen Russland ereignet. "Wir können schon mit Sicherheit sagen, dass es sich um eine verirrte Drohne handelte", sagte sie nach einer Sitzung des Nationalen Sicherheitsrates in Vilnius. Die Drohne war in der Nacht zu Montag im Bezirk Varena nahe der Grenze zu Belarus in den litauischen Luftraum eingedrungen und auf einem zugefrorenen See abgestürzt. Sie war weder von Militärradargeräten erfasst noch vom Grenzschutz bemerkt worden. Auf Aufnahmen einer Überwachungskamera, die der litauische Rundfunk veröffentlichte und die den Vorfall zeigen sollen, sind eine Explosion und brennende Trümmer zu sehen. Verletzt wurde bei dem Vorfall niemand.

وزارت خارجه لبنان اعلام کرد اعتبار محمدرضا شیبانی، سفیر جمهوری اسلامی، را لغو و او را عنصر نامطلوب اعلام کرده است. این وزارتخانه از شیبانی خواست حداکثر تا روز یکشنبه خاک لبنان را ترک کند. در بیانیه لبنان آمده است این تصمیم در چارچوب اختیارات دیپلماتیک این کشور اتخاذ شده است.
این وزارتخانه همچنین اعلام کرد سفیر لبنان در تهران را برای انجام رایزنی فراخوانده و دلیل این اقدام را آنچه نقض «هنجارهای دیپلماتیک و رویه های تثبیت شده» میان دو کشور از سوی تهران توصیف کرد، عنوان کرده است.
