A building used to service military transport aircraft, in particular the Il-76 and L-410, was hit.
Next to the hit building is a stand for testing aircraft engines, which indicates the likely specialization of the facility - repair and further testing of engines.
Separately: the media mentioned the presence of two A-50 anti-aircraft missile aircraft at this airfield, however, these aircraft have been there since at least June 2023 and are not linked to this attack.

Ukrainian military personnel placed second at international cyber exercises in Singapore.
A joint team of cybersecurity units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 21st Signal Regiment of the United Kingdom won silver at the Defense Cyber Marvel 2026 exercises.
More than 2,500 specialists from 29 countries took part in the competition, organized by the British Ministry of Defence.
Participants practiced protecting military systems, cloud services, and critical infrastructure from complex, multi-level attacks.
