“They didn’t even see us”: Ukrainian forces defeated their opponents during NATO naval exercises off the coast of Portugal.

A multinational naval group commanded by Ukrainians penetrated the “enemy’s” defenses during the NATO exercise REPMUS/Dynamic Messenger 2025 and “sank” at least one allied frigate before it even realized it had been destroyed.

Five scenarios off the coast of Portugal practiced defending ports and convoys, as well as attacking convoys. In all five scenarios, the “Reds,” led by the Ukrainians, defeated the NATO naval forces’ “Blues” using Magura V7 naval drone.

During one scenario, a simulated attack on a convoy reportedly hit a frigate so many times that it would have sunk in a real battle. Five minutes later, the “Blues” unsuspectingly asked in the general chat: “So, are you going to attack us now or not?”
