🔻 آمریکا واحد ۵ هزار نفری تفنگداران دریایی را به خاورمیانه اعزام میکند
روزنامه وال استریت ژورنال به نقل از سه مقام آمریکایی گزارش داد که پنتاگون در پی افزایش حملات جمهوری اسلامی به تنگه هرمز، بخشی از یک گروه آماده آبی ـ خاکی شامل حدود ۵ هزار تفنگدار دریایی و چند ناو جنگی را به خاورمیانه اعزام می کند.
به گفته این مقام ها، پیت هگست، وزیر جنگ آمریکا، با درخواست سنتکام، ستاد فرماندهی مرکزی آمریکا، برای اعزام یک واحد اعزامی تفنگداران دریایی به همراه چند ناو جنگی موافقت کرده است.
دو تن از مقام های آمریکایی گفتند ناو یواس اس تریپولی که در ژاپن مستقر است، به همراه تفنگداران دریایی همراه آن، اکنون به سوی خاورمیانه حرکت کرده است. به گفته آنان، هم اکنون نیز تفنگداران دریایی در چارچوب عملیات مرتبط با ایران در منطقه حضور دارند.
