According to the multi-theater situation assessment, Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, ordered a broad reinforcement of forces in the Northern Command, as part of strengthening readiness for various attack and defense scenarios.

The thickening and deployment of forces along the northern border sector will be carried out based on additional regular forces, including a division, brigades, and engineering battalions.

Simultaneously, reserve forces will be recruited to replace the regular units transferred to the northern sector, in order to maintain operational continuity across all theaters.

Merz hingegen sprach davon, dass sechs Länder sich sehr klar gegen eine Lockerung dieser Sanktionen ausgesprochen hätten.
