🇮🇶/🇫🇷🔥 Drone attack on Erbil; one French soldier killed
➡️ Iraqi resistance groups, continuing their attacks on US assets in Erbil, targeted the French army base with a drone attack. As a result of this attack, one French soldier was killed and several others were injured. It is reported that a French army helicopter was also destroyed in this attack.
👉 This is the first attack by resistance groups on the French military base in northern Iraq. It seems that with the continuation of the war, we will witness an expansion of the range of targets of the resistance groups.

🛐 В польском Щецине католики‑миряне фактически ставят своему епископату ультиматум: либо церковь сама запускает комиссию для расследования сексуальных преступлений против несовершеннолетних, либо окончательно теряет доверие паствы.
Группа верующих требует от архиепископа Веслава Смигеля создать независимую комиссию по образцу уже действующих структур в Сосновце, Лодзи, Кракове и Ченстохове. Они прямо пишут, что из‑за бездействия и витринных жестов верующие уходят из церкви.
🟣 Письмо подали в курию ровно в день пленарного заседания Польской епископской конференции. На ней уже обещали обсудить создание общенациональной комиссии, — но авторы обращения не верят в «варшавские обещания» и требуют действий здесь и сейчас, а ещё — на уровне конкретной епархии.
Недавно в Сосновецкой епархии выявили десятки священников, обвиняемых в сексуальном насилии над детьми. Комиссия установила 50 жертв, почти все они — 96% — пострадали до достижения 15 лет. При этом девочки составили 66% пострадавших.
