Уже второй корабль ВМС Ирана запросил убежище в третьей стране чтобы избежать потопления американцами.

Как пишет Bloomberg, запросившим убежище судном оказался БДК Lavan, причем случилось это еще в первый день войны 28 февраля, до уничтожения фрегата Dena подводной лодкой ВМС США. Как показали дальнейшие события - не зря.

Произошло все по аналогичной схеме с кораблем снабжения Bushehr, запросившим убежище на Шри-Ланке из-за "обнаруженной неисправности". Десантный корабль Lavan также сослался в своем запросе властям Индии на технические проблемы, что формально позволило пришвартоваться в порту Коччи. Глава МИД Индии назвал это "гуманным решением".
