Армия обороны Израиля в четверг зафиксировала старт баллистических ракет с территории Ирана, сообщает The Times of Israel.

We can try to negotiate an end to the war with strong mediators, but the conditions must be such that we do not believe, do not simply rely on Russia’s words. We must understand that if Ukraine is not in Donbas, there is no guarantee that Putin will not continue the war. I would even say the opposite. The fact is that he will continue. Not the fact that he will continue immediately.

He needs time to prepare, to man brigades, additional divisions, etc. This requires time. That’s what I believe – that he needs this time. But who gives a guarantee that he will not continue the occupation later?

Besides, why should we leave our land that we control? He could not do anything on the battlefield: he has no strength. He wants us to believe him and simply withdraw from our territories, which are well fortified. These fortifications limit the capabilities of the Russian troops.

Putin understands that if we withdraw, he will keep from 300 thousand to a million of his soldiers, depending on the activity and duration of the offensive in Donbas. Why should we suddenly believe him and give him such gifts?
