31 января Президент Азербайджанской Республики Ильхам Алиев позвонил Президенту Исламской Республики Иран Масуду Пезешкиану.

В ходе беседы было вновь отмечено, что отношения между Азербайджаном и Ираном основаны на принципах дружбы, братства и добрососедства, между нашими народами существуют исторические, этнические и религиозные связи.
Во время телефонного разговора с удовлетворением были упомянуты визиты Президента Ирана в Азербайджан, встречи глав государств и проведенные ими плодотворные переговоры, было отмечено, что это вносит весомый вклад в развитие двусторонних связей. Подчеркнуто, что работы по строительству автомобильного моста через реку Араз, соединяющего пункты Агбенд и Келале, ведутся в соответствии с графиком.

Глава нашего государства, выразив обеспокоенность ситуацией, возникшей в регионе, заявил о готовности Азербайджана внести вклад в устранение напряженности и подчеркнул, что наша страна является сторонницей решения подобных вопросов путем переговоров и взаимопонимания.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said a technical failure hit the power grid in the morning, affecting two transmission lines between Romania and Moldova as well as lines inside Ukraine. He said there are no signs of a cyberattack or external interference, with icing due to weather and automatic shutdowns named as the cause. Zelensky said the most difficult situation is in Kyiv, where there is a serious heating deficit and nearly 3,500 buildings across different districts are without heat.

Die Behörde warnt: "Diese Geschichte erinnert uns einmal mehr daran, wie wichtig es ist, keine Entscheidung hinauszuzögern und rechtzeitig zu evakuieren." Oft sind es ältere Menschen, die in den frontnahen Städten und Orten zurückbleiben. Einer der Gründe ist, dass sie die Orte trotz der Evakuierungs-Aufforderungen der Behörden nicht verlassen wollen.
