Als Grund nennt er unter anderem Entwicklungen im Verhältnis zwischen den USA und dem Iran. Zudem sei es wichtig, dass alle vereinbarten Teilnehmer anwesend seien. US-Außenminister Marco Rubio hatte zuvor erklärt, die US-Gesandten Steve Witkoff und Jared Kushner würden am Wochenende nicht nach Abu Dhabi reisen.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Президент Украины Владимир Зеленский заявил, что очередная встреча с российской стороной, запланированная в Абу-Даби, может быть перенесена, сообщают украинские СМИ.

«Я не знаю, когда состоится следующая встреча. Она должна была пройти в воскресенье в Абу-Даби. Для нас очень важно, чтобы все, с кем договаривались, присутствовали, поскольку все ждут обратной связи. Но может быть изменена дата или место. Потому что, на наш взгляд, что-то происходит в ситуации с Америкой и Ираном. И эти вещи, наверное, могут повлиять на дату», — заявил глава Украины.

Зеленский также заявил о готовности провести встречу с российским лидером Владимиром Путиным в Киеве.

«Публично приглашаю его, если он решится, конечно. Но если кто-то не хочет встречаться, но не может себе позволить сказать об этом прямо по какой-то причине, то тогда звучат приглашения в Москву», — подчеркнул Зеленский.
