Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense is already working with SpaceX to address the issue of Russian drones using the Starlink satellite system, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said. He did not provide technical details on how the problem is being addressed or a timeline for implementation.

The Kremlin has opposed holding talks between Zelenskyy and Putin anywhere other than Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“Russia is currently talking about negotiations with Zelenskyy in Moscow. Discussions about another location for negotiations are inappropriate,” Peskov stated.

The SBU’s "Alpha" unit summed up the results of strikes on Russian aviation over the past year: 5 airfields and 15 aircraft were hit, with total losses estimated at around $1 billion.

Valerii and Valentyna Klochkov had lived in a cellar for over a month after Russian forces entered the village on December 18, 2025. Peru announces the release of two more Peruvians who were detained in Venezuela

The Peruvian government confirmed the release of Ricardo Meléndez and Arturo Paredes, adding three citizens released since the capture of Nicolás Maduro on January 3rd. Meléndez, a 62-year-old businessman, and Paredes, the former mayor of Requena, were detained in El Rodeo I for various reasons and will receive consular assistance for their return to the country.

The release was managed from the Peruvian Foreign Ministry with support from Brazil and Colombia, as Peru and Venezuela broke diplomatic relations in July 2024.

Russian forces attempting to mass manpower were hit after choosing a building for shelter. With assault gear and large amounts of ammunition limiting their mobility, the troops gathered inside the structure. Artillerymen from the Hrim battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment waited until enough personnel had assembled, then struck the target with 155 mm artillery. The Embassy of Ukraine in Brussels has called for the cancellation of the screening of the Russian war film “Carnets de Russie” (Notes from Russia).
