The system, equipped with four modules, a control point and its own radar, automatically detects the drone and tracks it, and the operator makes the decision to shoot.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the Iranian regime is surviving only through violence and terror against its own population and is nearing the end of its rule. He said the process could take weeks but stressed the regime has no legitimacy to govern the country. Merz described the current leadership as unable to maintain power without repression, questioning its future stability.

An idea to mobilize foreigners holding residence permits in Ukraine is being discussed at the General Staff and is supported by “many” lawmakers, Ukrainian serviceman Denys Yaroslavskyi said. He claimed around 100,000 foreigners of conscription age live in Ukraine and could theoretically be required to sign six-month military contracts. Yaroslavskyi argued that those who live, work, or plan families in Ukraine should be ready to defend the country on equal terms with citizens. He added that if half leave due to scrutiny by enlistment offices, it would not be critical.

Operators from Ukraine’s 4th Special Operations Forces Regiment shot down an FPV drone during the evacuation of allied equipment. The rangers used pump-action shotguns and small arms against a fiber-optic guided drone. The drone was destroyed at a distance of about 10 meters.

Ukrainian forces destroyed Russian military equipment in the Lyman direction, where Russian troops are currently concentrating forces. The strikes were carried out by the F-16 FPV drone crew of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
