The US military needs a few more days to assemble a force in the Middle East capable of significant action if President Trump orders it, two sources told the Jerusalem Post. The buildup includes the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, additional naval vessels, F-15 fighter jets, other aircraft, and refueling planes. Sources say US air defenses are now deployed to help protect Israel and American facilities in case of an Iranian attack. No decision by Trump has been made.

✈️😄 In Irkutsk, the airline IrAero transferred people from a passenger An-24 to a cargo An-26.

Passengers were forced to travel with their cargo on folding seats. They tried to complain about the flight conditions, but the airline said that there were no violations.

Due to the sanctions, the planes were left without Western spare parts and normal maintenance. There was practically nothing to replace them with, because the promised “own” ones never appeared.

The Federal Aviation Administration previously also admitted that it could lose hundreds of aircraft in the next 5 years.
