The US Army has ordered 65 COMMANDO Select armored vehicles for Ukraine under a three year contract worth $163.4 million, according to Defence Blog. The contract was awarded to Textron Systems. The COMMANDO Select is designed for highly mobile operations in difficult terrain while providing crew protection. The vehicles delivered to Ukraine will be configured to support special operations and rapid response missions, strengthening mobility and survivability on the battlefield.

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine at the very moment delegations were meeting in Abu Dhabi to advance a US brokered peace process. He called the strike “cynical,” saying Putin’s missiles hit not only Ukrainian civilians but also “the negotiating table itself.”

Sybiha accused Russia of continuing a genocidal war against civilians and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. He said the attack proves Putin’s place is not in a Peace Council but before a special tribunal.

Пациентка, находившаяся в горбольнице Эжвы, скончалась в пятницу, сообщает пресс-служба регионального министерства здравоохранения.

Как сообщалось, днем 15 января во время учебных занятий загорелась крыша в центре профессиональной подготовки МВД по Коми в Сыктывкаре. Площадь пожара составила свыше 300 кв. м.

Пострадали свыше 20 человек. Одна из пострадавших скончалась в больнице от ожогов и отравления угарным газом.
