Народився 19 травня 1898 року в Римі в аристократичній родині. Закінчив інженерний факультет, але відмовився від диплома. Учасник Першої світової війни, після якої захопився живописом, футуризмом і дадаїзмом, пізніше звернувся до езотерики та традиціоналізму, зазнавши впливу буддизму й ідей Рене Генона.

У журналі «Фашистська критика» опублікував свою відому працю «Язичницький імперіалізм». У 1938 році зустрівся з Корнеліу Кодряну. До 1943 року вів рубрику у виданні «Фашистський лад».

Евола відстоював ідеї кшатрійського духу, поєднання традицій з активною дією. Після поранення в 1945 році залишився паралізованим. У 1951 році був заарештований, але звільнений наприкінці року. Помер 11 червня 1974 року, його прах поховано на вершині Монте-Роза.

Його праці мають вплив і сьогодні, зберігаючи актуальність для прихильників
