Lending is an important part of DeFi, and most dApps require users to lock up an asset to take out a loan. So in todayβs glossary, weβll cover Over Collateralization.
Collateralized loans, in general, are more advantageous than un-collateralized ones. And setting the collateral at a higher level than the loanβs value means reducing the volatility-related risk even more. When the asset locked is more valuable than the loan, the borrower is less likely not to pay the loan.
Over-collateralization can also happen when the asset placed as collateral increases after the loan is taken.
In general, over-collateralization and liquidation provide protocols with sufficient liquidity.

π Hey Nimbus Community,
π We have an important update for Nimbus Affiliate Program (AP) 3.1 users.
As you all know from the previous announcement, the Staking Period in Affiliate Program 3.1 has come to an end. This update is in regard to the reward accrual for Staking in AP 3.1:
β The old rewards mechanics for completed staking have ceased to function at the backend. This means that rewards for AP 3.1 users with completed staking have stopped accruing;
β This change is not reflected on the frontend/user interface. Meaning on the dashboard, users still see their rewards.
β The βWithdrawβ button no longer functions.
What happens to my rewards that have already been accumulated?
All accumulated rewards will be airdropped to users' wallets through Multisender in few coming days.
Reminder:
Personal cabinet version 3.1 is available till October 1, 2022

Yesterday we told you that the Transfer to TAKE IT NFT button is available in your AP 4.1 personal cabinet interface.
In fact, TAKE IT NFT functionality is available only in the AP 3.1 interface version until the 1st of October. Nevertheless, users of AP 4.1 can always have the possibility to return to AP 3.1 interface version in their personal cabinet and benefit from TAKE IT NFT.
