The Nimbus Lend & Borrow dApps will be temporarily dismissed from the Ethereum network, effective today (November 11th, 2021). For the time being, these dApps will function solely on the Binance Smart Chain network.
Why? Because on the one hand, we see that due to the high gas fees, you use these dApps on BSC. On the other hand, while the functionality on Ethereum remains unused, it takes too many resources for contract republishing as we improve these dApps.

🤑It was a week full of records. First thing first, Bitcoin surged to new highs for the first time after inflation data bolstered the argument that the cryptocurrency is a hedge against rising cost pressures. Other coins also rose, with the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index improving as much as 2.4% to its highest level since May.
🙈Secondly, ProShares’ Bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund rose to the top 2% of all ETFs in terms of the total trading volume. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted on Thursday that the instrument had $400 million worth of shares traded on Wednesday, with its average volume consistently putting it in the top 2% of all ETFs.
🥇Finally yet importantly, digital asset manager Grayscale has topped $60 billion in assets under management, surpassing the SPDR Gold Shares, the largest and most liquid gold exchange-traded fund in the world. According to the firm's Wednesday update, Grayscale now controls $60.8 billion in AUM, compared to SDPR Gold Shares' current AUM of $58.3 billion.
🍏Another curious fact the crypto community learned this week was that Apple CEO Tim Cook personally owns cryptocurrencies, using digital assets to diversify his investment portfolio. Should we expect a crypto integration in the Apple devices any time soon?

Many believe that the metaverse could increase the need for digital native currencies like cryptos. By the way, Meta Platforms recently launched a crypto wallet project called Novi. Overall we can say that now begins the race to build the best metaverse with a supporting digital asset experience.
💲Another great news for the crypto industry came from Galaxy Digital, technology-driven financial services and investment management firm, and TIME - a global media brand. Both companies partnered combining the Power of Media and the Metaverse to Educate Readers. TIME will leverage Galaxy Digital's deep expertise in virtual worlds to assist in explaining the metaverse and its exciting potential for the future. It should be noted that true to its crypto and Web3 focus, Galaxy Digital financed this partnership with Ether.
🧠 Regarding the DeFi industry, in its latest research note, banking giant JPMorgan stated that the decentralized finance sector has plenty of room for growth. Chief analyst Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou writes that the sector is still in its infancy: “There is little doubt that DeFi is still at early stages and thus has a lot of potential to grow over time”.

It's been another productive biweekly sprint run for your Nimbus Team.
Without further ado, let's look at the progress made!
✅ Bridge between Nimbus LP staking section and PancakeSwap:
Now you can provide liquidity to NBU & GNBU (BEP-20) pairs on PancakeSwap but stake the LP tokens that you receive in return on the Nimbus Platform. This way, you can receive both your swap rewards from the PancakeSwap trading and from the LP staking, at 100% APY — yay! A similar bridge was also established with the Uniswap. This means you can benefit from a similar feature by providing liquidity in the ERC-20 tokens as well.
🚨Note — Make sure you use the same wallet in both PancakeSwap or Uniswap and the Nimbus Platform: otherwise the bridge won’t work.
✅ Analytics Page (Backend):
In one of the previous sprints, we informed you about improving data on the analytics page by substituting the Subgraph with our own novel code. The work for the same on the backend has been completed, and we will no longer be using the Subgraph since all the data will be taken from our own backend. This means you will now have extremely accurate analytics to make well-informed real-time decisions on the Nimbus Platform.
✅ Support Clearance:
And as for the Nimbus support clearance, out of 77 support tickets received, 68 have been resolved successfully.

✅ Nimbus NFT token:
NFTs are changing both cultural and economic experiences for collectors and creators. As a holistic ecosystem, it seems natural to introduce NFT as a functionality on the Nimbus Platform. Hence, your team has been working on the Nimbus NFT token for the past few months, which will provide users with easy access to even more reward streams! We have finalized the smart contracts, and they are under auditing at the moment. The NFT token is coming sooner than you would expect! Stay tuned!

Here are some useful facts about bridges in DeFi:

This week, Rest Super (Retail Employees Superannuation Trust) shared its plans to acquire digital assets at the annual general meeting. If things go as expected, REST could become the first of the major super funds to signal material inflows in crypto. The question then becomes — are we going to see a wave of similar commitments to the space any time soon?
😈 The answer is most probably yes, as even Macy’s (American holding company) announced that it might launch curated digital marketplace. This way the company looks forward to significantly expand it assortment in existing categories and brands and introduce a range of new categories. Potentially, the newborn digital business could generate Macy’s around $10 billion in sales by 2023.
🥇 Finally yet importantly, Adidas Originals has announced a partnership with the crypto exchange Coinbase. It is rumored that one potential area of focus could be non-fungible tokens or NFTs, for which Coinbase is developing a dedicated service.
