From this day on, he is officially in our team, please welcome - Waseem Mamlouk - Nimbus Advisor on economic development, Legal Protection, and Cybersecurity.
Waseem Mamlouk is a serial entrepreneur who knows the legal, economic, and technical aspects of crypto opportunities and DeFi well from many years at the head of several firms, two of which led to successful buyouts and still regularly develops projects and advises in the GCC.
Mr. Mamlouk attained his degree in Commercial Law from the American University in Washington, DC. He followed up with studies in Information Technology and Network Security at NOVA College in Virginia. After spending several years as a Federal IT Systems Security Consultant In the DC area at Booz & Co (formerly Booz Allen), he went on to found Atlas Investment Group, premier financial services firm in the Middle East, now with offices in over 20 countries. He then started ITS, one of the first CyberSecurity companies in the region, and successfully sold it in 2014. Since that time, he has worked in the GCC as a Data Security and Privacy Consultant, most recently as the Privacy Officer of Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in Saudi Arabia.
His interest is to bring freedom to the masses. Having seen the economic hardships endured by many in the region and globally, he aspires to share the game-changing aspects of business-driven cryptocurrency opportunities and exchange with the unbanked, ultimately in the form of a fund focused on these projects and technologies.
