DAOs are internet-native organizations where the decisional and management power is in the hands of their members. The foundational rules are set in smart contracts that also execute the decisions made by the token holders.

- Fully autonomous
- Transparent
- Built-in treasury only accessible with members’ approval
- Decisions made through proposals and voting
- No hierarchical structure
DAOs are built on open-source blockchains, so anyone can view their code or audit the built-in treasuries. They are fully transparent, and all transactions are recorded on the blockchain.

However, a majority of our community members are not so keen about representing the token using the ticker - Nimbus_DAO
Since your thoughts are key in Nimbus's development, we decided to heed to the consensus and re-name the new governance token as - GNIMB!
The new token symbol shares synergy with the new Nimbus native token - NIMB, and is much more standardized according to industry standards!
We appreciate your valuable feedback that helped establish a more optimal representation for the upcoming token!
