I am temporarily suspending the project due to a flood of incomprehensible negativity.

The simplest and most appropriate analogy for the difference between my work and FL's work is like import substitution:

Me: For example, take Elbrus and adapt Linux to this specific hardware. They write their own drivers, tweak, optimize it for their chipsets, and fix bugs after each update. This is deep engineering work.

FL: Like a small company that takes a ready-made OS, puts it on a Chinese tablet, renames it to "GosPlan", changes the wallpaper, deletes unnecessary apps, repacks it, and sells it as a "fully domestic solution".


Ps.
This shows why my work takes much more time. I don't mind FL's work at all — it's just a completely different level of effort, and I want that to be clear.
