بیست و هشت سال پیش در چنین روزی، کرت کوبین شاتگانش رو برداشت، به سمت گلخونهی بالای گاراژ خونهاش رفت و با کشیدنِ ماشهی اسلحه برای همیشه صدای نسل خودش رو خاموش کرد. جسد متلاشی شدهی کوبین، سه روز بعد پیدا و بعد از انگشتنگاریِ پلیس هویتش مشخص شد، اگرچه هنوز ابهامات زیادی حول خودکشیِ کوبین هست، پلیس سیاتل علت مرگ رو، علیرغم مقدار مصرف بیش از حد هرویین -که عملا او رو از کشیدن ماشه ناتوان میکرده- اقدام به خودکشی اعلام کرد و پروندهی مرگ صدای ابدیِ آلترناتیو رو برای همیشه بست.
«دلبندم! دیگر هیچ شور و سودایی ندارم. به یاد داشته باشید که بهتر است به یکباره خاموش شد تا ذره ذره محو.

On this day 28 years ago, Kurt Cobain picked up his shotguns, walked to the greenhouses above his garage, and pulled out the sound of his generation forever, pulling the trigger. Cobain's dismembered body was identified three days after his discovery and fingerprinting, but there is still much ambiguity surrounding Cobain's suicide. I do. - Declared suicide and closed the case of the death of the eternal voice of the alternative forever.

For his eighth birthday on February 20th, 1975 Kurt Cobain was gifted an easel by his Grandparents. His favorite subjects to draw were Disney characters and comic book characters.
