PSA filezilla can damage files downloaded over FTP
Filezilla can treat binary files as ASCII files and this can result in corruption to files without extensions such as boot0 and boot1 this corruption can brick or even destroy keys. Please check your FileZilla settings and make sure default is set to binary and "Treat files without extension as ASCII files" and "treat dotfiles as ASCII files" are disabled. it should look like this. I also recommend verifying your backups incase anything you have done before has been fucked up It is possible for this corruption to occur without bricking the switch This is even worse because it may never get caught. Tip: improved emulator performance.
Maybe everyone knows this, but I just figured it out last night. Retro arch offers cpu overclock in its interface, other apps may not.Regardless, the tip: use sysclk editor to overclock the cpu/gpu/ram for a particular switch game. Then launch that game specifically with the R button to get into homebrew launcher. You may notice the animations are MUCH faster, because they’re based on the clocks you’ve just overclocked.Now all the home brew (including emulators!) will be overclocked to your preferences instead of just having control over cpu in retroarch. I’ve had much better performance with this method vs just overclocking cpu in the retroarch UI.Hope this helps someone!
