I just released a beta build of an eBook Reader!
There are a few bugs and things that I would like to add, but I decided that I should release a beta to get some input. Make sure to create a folder for your books. If it's missing the folder, it may crash. The folder MUST be "/switch/eBookReader/books/" Currently most pdfs work, minimal testing of the other formats. The screen is black for multiple seconds before actually booting, just wait! Now go read some glowing books!https://github.com/SeanOMik/eBookReaderSwitch/releases

Switch won't power on
I'm not an expert at hardware, I'd like some help figuring out why this switch won't turn on. Closeup pictures can be provided, thanks :')https://i.imgur.com/4HLtZD0.jpg

Switch power cable lock broken
This is a hardware question, but I purchased a hardmodded switch a while back. I never noticed until it stopped working, but apparently the locking mechanism for the power cable (that locks it to the motherboard) was broken off. I contacted the seller, but he hasn't responded. It was originally connected by what looks like a black adhesive, but that wore off and now I can't use the power button. Would anyone have any idea of how I could repair it? I've tried using electrical tape (Kaplan tape), but I can't get it to work.I'm willing to solder. Anything to get it to work

Got clear switch housing/case, now left joy con rail won't see joycon!
Hey all, I got one of those clear cases for the joycon and the switch back. For some reason now, the left joy con rail doesn't read any controller attached to the system. The ribbon looks fine (I can see it through the case,) and the joy con works when wireless, but nothing happens at all when I connect it to the rail.Anyone know a fix? Thanks.

Bunch of 60 FPS mods - Part 5
Maybe not that much as in other parts, but this time we made a next step: MrComputerRevo figured out how NVN API is locking framerate, so we could enable FPS in titles that we were struggling with before: Astral Chain and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Astral Chain is still in the works, but Fire Emblem: Three Houses is ready to use.Fire Emblem: Three Houseshttps://gbatemp.net/threads/fire-emblem-three-houses-60-fps-mod.547333/Risk of Rain 2https://gbatemp.net/threads/risk-of-rain-2-60-fps-mod.547161/For other info:I enabled 60 FPS with correct speed of gameplay for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Sadly it looks like Switch memory bandwidth is too weak to handle it (OC doesn't make a difference). I ceased work on it because this is something that makes it not worth trying to repair. But I made many months ago mod for loading graphics settings to Xenoblade Chronicles 2. So maybe it's possible to free bandwidth with disabling/modifying some settings... If someone want to try, here is patch to download in topic with mod for Graphics Settings.https://gbatemp.net/threads/xenoblade-chronicles-2-graphics-settings.529436/page-10#post-8777576Trying to check more games using NVN API for locking framerate.About Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate: It's possible that it uses NVN API to lock framerate, but because I can't decompile 32-bit ARM code in IDA, we can't check if it's really used in this game. If someone knows a way to decompile code of 32-bit ARM code in IDA, It will be much appreciated.Enjoy.

Divinity Original Sin 2 No-Steam Cross Save Guide
I figured out how to get this working and thought I would share.PrerequisitesConfirm both PC client and Switch game are up to date. (PC 3.6.48.3268) (NX 1.0.01 or 3.6.47.7023)Checkpoint installed.Ftp is recommended.Start the game on switch at least once and create a manual save game.In checkpoint create a backup. If you just updated your PC client, you must run it and create a manual save game there as well. Name it "Switch" for convenience.Navigate to your PC game profile in documents. (C:\Users\USER\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\USER)Open the save backup from your switch. (/switch/Checkpoint/saves/0x010027400CDC6000 Divinity Original Sin 2)Copy the three .lsb files from your PC player profile folder to the /Profile/ folder on your checkpoint backup. Confirm overwrite of profile.lsbOn PC open /Savegames/Story/Switch (if you names your save Switch)In the checkpoint backup open the most recent save folder (Save000"x")Copy the .lsv and .png from PC save to checkpoint backup folder.Delete old saves in checkpoint backup and rename the PC ones to the same names they were.Go up a folder in your checkpoint backup and open the _title_Save000"x" in note pad.Change the contents to "Story - Switch".Now restore in checkpoint and you're all done.Open game on switch and go to Story > Load campaign. There might be some unnecessary steps in here but this is how I got it working. Current versions is imperative though. This should in theory work the other way around by just copying the save game itself back over to PC but have not tried it to confirm.

Switch online SNES hacking possibilities
With all the work done by the SNES Classic community on Canoe - the emulator created by Nintendo - it will be fascinating to find out how the preset ID system works with the new Switch Online SNES. Because the Yoshi's island fuzzy glitch has been fixed, it would also seem that the Switch Online SNES Canoe has been updated or otherwise.I know it's early days, but if anyone sees anyone online poking around in the SNES Switch Online code, and what they find there, please post. Some hacking possibilities I'd love to see:It is very possible that a SNES rom injector will eventually arrive (there are NES injectors out there already), and might be able to use the Canoe preset IDs, or even the SFROMs, gathered and created by the SNES Classic community. It is also - more tangentially - possible, that the updated Canoe could be extracted and used to update the SNES Classic system.A save game extractor/injector specifically for SNES games would have a lot of possibilities, moving saved games between old systems such as SNES9x emulation, SNES Classic system, or even saves extracted from carts using things like an Analogue Super NTAny and all news and hacking ideas welcome...

Switch headphone jack replacement
So my headphone jack stopped working a while ago. Obviously I don’t want to give my hacked console to Nintendo for repair.So...Has anyone replaced the headphone jack / game cartridge board themselves? How would you rate the difficulty? Any other advice?
