QUESTION: can I send input to the switch from a PC with a USB cable
hello, I was watching some tools for sending input to the switch and I saw that you must have a custom bord to emulate thr input of a joycon (https://github.com/dekuNukem/joyAnalog) or Teensy or Arduino (https://github.com/shinyquagsire23/Switch-Fightstick), so my question is, is it possible to send input to the switch from a PC using only a USB cable? if yes, there is a project or library that I didn't saw that someone can link or any type of documantation ? if no, why ?

Swapping micro sd cards
Hey everyone I hacked my switch a few months back but only had a 16 gig micro sd card. I just got a 128 gig card and was wondering if there is anything specific I need to do to keep my custom firmware, games, tools and other things working when I trade over to the 128 gig card.Specifically if I have games installed on the 16 gig card from the eshop but have been banned for having a hacked switch will I be able to keep those games and their saves. For example I have the physical card for BOTW and installed the updates and dlcs on the micro sd card. I can no longer access the eshop so losing those updates will keep me from playing them. I could use a free shop and download the updates there but would like to keep BOTW as a physical game as to only take 2 gigs of space on the sd card.My plan was to copy everything from the 16 gig card onto my pc then copy it to the 128 gig card however I am not sure if the eshop files will transfer over due to how Nintendo secures their games from being stolen.Because of how hacking the switch works from my knowledge formatting the 128 gig card to fat 32 then transfering the files from the 16 gig card there should be no issues with the custom firmware and programs specific to the homebrew store or other 3rd party software but I am concerned about not being able to access my digital purched games and dlc after swapping the micro sd card.Let me know if I need to do anything special or if I am out of luck with anything.

Bunch of 60 FPS mods - Part 3
This time with my colleague's debut. First two mods were made by him.Lost Sphearhttps://gbatemp.net/threads/lost-sphear-60-fps-mod.546552/I am Setsunahttps://gbatemp.net/threads/i-am-setsuna-60-fps-mod.546577/Fehttps://gbatemp.net/threads/fe-60-fps-mod.546583/American Fugitivehttps://gbatemp.net/threads/american-fugitive-60-fps-mod.546605/Today we got one steap ahead in how to get 60 FPS in Unity games and thanks to that American Fugitive got 60 FPS. There is still room to improve so we can use only IPS patch in case like this. For more 60 FPS mods wait to the next friday.Enjoy.

Switch gets no power, can't turn it on or charge it
Sorry if this isn’t the right sub, I’m just really desperate and figured you guys have a lot of experience with the switch hardware.I bought a faulty switch that doesn’t get any power and doesn’t charge. Seller claimed they just got an error one day and then it never came back on (it was a kids switch). When I dock the switch, I get a quick green light flash on the dock LED, and that’s it.To check the power, I used a USB voltage meter with a standard micro type C cable, and the reading I got was 0.43 when I plugged the type C into the switch. I got a brand new battery, and the reading moved up to 0.49 but still no power, no display and no fast charge.I opened it up and stripped it completely, and it looks fine to me, no water damage or corrosion, it was just a bit dusty which I cleaned up. I also cleaned the board with isopropyl alcohol from both sides to make sure, but nothing changed when I hooked it back up.What could the problem be? I ordered a charge port, but if that doesn't fix it I think I'm going to give up and re-sell it as faulty.Thank you in advance

Nintendo Switch v8.1.1 Hack Status
You may wanna ask if I made a mistake about switch version? non I mean exactly Nintendo Switch v8.1.1 and not actually 8.1.0.I believe that switch v8.1.1 will come out next month ;)The reason as follow:As we know that Nintendo 3DS was updated to v11.11.0-43 yesterday.Strangely, this update has only been published in Europe, for the moment perhaps, but the main reason being that the second European directive on PSD2 payment services will come into effect on September 14th.This European directive imposes the introduction of additional security strategies when you pay more than 30 euros. This directive should apply to all consoles, so it is likely that new firmware will come on Wii U and Switch. That's why I say Nintendo Switch will be updated to 8.1.1.Hack Status of Switch 8.1.1Hackable too if your switch is unpatched. The unpatched switches can always be hacked because it is a hardware flaw so feel free to update the firmware knowing that it will always be hackable.Let's wait and see next month lol

Hey everyone! I made a program that will have common hacking programs launchable from a single program. I am having some problems with certain programs opening, but will work on it as soon as possible. Hope you enjoy and please give feedback or suggestions in Issues.Click here to go to project

Nintendo Switch Display Issues
Hi, a few days ago I've noticed a display error for my Switch. The issue doesn't happen while in docked mode and I've been very careful of my Switch. All has been going well until I tried Atmosphere on my 8.1.0. I've been looking for a solution for days now. I hope someone can lead me to the right direction, cheers! Ps. There's constant flickering with the light pulsating on any brightness level above 0.Images: https://imgur.com/a/O4TeRWx

"I want to hack my Switch."An exploit for some patched units (4.2.0–7.0.1) has been discovered, but no usable code to go with it has been released yet.CFWs have been out for a while now; the standard solution is <a href="https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere">Atmosphère-NX</a>, see<a href="https://guide.sdsetup.com/">Kosmos/SDFiles guide to set up CFW</a>.<a href="https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/">The Nintendo Homebrew Discord server also made a guide</a>. <a href="https://reinx.guide/">There's an alternate guide guide for the ReiNX CFW specifically</a>.Alternatively, you can buy <a href="https://sx.xecuter.com/">SX OS or SX Pro from Team Xecuter</a> for CFW needs. There's also <a href="https://lakka-switch.github.io/documentation/">Lakka</a>, a Linux distribution that contains a number of emulators, or just <a href="https://gbatemp.net/threads/l4t-ubuntu-a-fully-featured-linux-on-your-switch.537301/">L4T Ubuntu</a> for using a more standard Linux distribution on your Switch. <a href="https://www.xda-developers.com/nintendo-switch-android-hands-on/">Efforts to port Android</a> are currently being made, but no release has happened yet.If you only want to set up homebrew launcher, check <a href="https://switch.hacks.guide/">https://switch.hacks.guide/</a> for how to install homebrew launcher on 3.0.0 and above.See also <a href="https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-run-any-switch-firmware-unofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/">this guide for downgrading</a>. Extract saves from NAND backup
Recently I looked for a way to get the save files from my NAND backup after I factory reset my emuMMC without backing those up. They were still on my sysnand but I wanted to have that as clean as possible. It took some time to find something so I thought I post it here if someone needs it.The general gist is to make a NAND backup with Hekate, use Biskeydump to get your specific bis_key_03, mount the backup as drive on your computer with HacDiskMount and use a tool by user jocover and James_E from gbatemp to convert the files to actual save files that can be restored with for example Checkpoint.A detailed instruction and the tool can be found here:https://gbatemp.net/attachments/libhac-with-saveextractscript-v2-zip.164018/I have to add that the files you get in the end will only be labeled as IDs not specific names. The folder format is [Users\Games\Save from specific Date]. On https://switchbrew.org/w/index.php?title=Title_list/Games you can look up all game IDs.Source: https://gbatemp.net/threads/extract-save-from-nand-backup.514261/
