Release: unofficial-appstore desktop
https://i.redd.it/bx23f0yn4bo31.pngA desktop gui for the Homebrew Appstore written in python.Uses the switchbru/4TU team's site as a backend for image and package downloads. One of the main goals of this app is to provide a homebrew management tool that doesn't require the switch to access the internet. While the title implies this app is "unofficial" I was given permission by the 4TU/Appstore team who run the switch service to use their server. It tracks apps the same way the switch appstore does so you can use both without any issues.DownloadSource

Trouble syncing time
I just opened up my switch today to put in some new thermal paste/thermal pads. Of course I unplugged the battery to do this, so I'm assuming that's what's causing the the issue, but I can't seem to get the date/time to sync again. I'm running sxos emunand on 8.1.0. any ideas? Thanks in advance

NS-USBloader v0.8 release. Bug fixes, some features.
Another one update. (Please let me know if I post here too often. Thank you!)Open source GUI application to upload/install NSP files to Switch over USB and Network for Adubbz/TinFoil 0.2.1, DBI and GoldLeaf v0.7 (I still didn't test it on v0.7.1/v0.7.2).It's written in Java so it works on Windows, Linux and MacOS.Screenshot. Actually it didn't significantly change since v0.3, but if you see this first time...If you're interested on how to install and use it, please see README file and release notes on download page GitHub.Changes:Fixed old annoying issue related to process interruption. Now button 'Interrupt' really interrupts the process in any moment =)If you still use GoldLeaf v0.5 use option 'Use old GoldLeaf version' in settings. (Yes, you still have to add one file to table and select it, otherwise only the first one from selected files would be used. Or nothing will work if you didn't select anything.)Now any file could be added to VIRT:/ if check-box 'Show only *.nsp in GoldLeaf' (in settings) not selected. This option sets filters to file chooser when you select files via 'Select .NSP files' or drag-n-drop files/folders. Enabled -> only NSPs; disabled -> everything (except hidden). Also this option excludes any non-NSP files from HOME:/ pseudo-drive in GoldLeaf. Yes, I know, it's a bit strange solution.Portuguese language updated by almircanella.Other not interesting changes (like a window now a bit larger, some icons a bit more round etc.)[Download] [Project Page] [Bug Tracking] [Support this app]

Use a steam Controller on switch
I don't know if this is widely know already but I just read about this project on /r/steamcontroller earlier today.
Opensteamcontroller by greggersaurus is a project to replace the firmware on the steam controller. One application of this is that it can be used with a Nintendo switch. The controller can't be used with a pc while it has the switch controller firmware on it but changing firmwares is mostly a case of drag and drop replace a file (apart from on Linux).

/r/SwitchHacks has changed ownership.
Hey, all!As of today (September 29th, 2019), /r/SwitchHacks is under new management. It's now under the ownership of ReSwitched – expect the moderator list to be filled out over the next day or so as volunteers from the ReSwitched mod team accept their invitations. Huge thanks to the previous management of the subreddit for running the subreddit so smoothly for so long, and I'm sorry to see the sunset of the old mod team's leadership. Don't expect any major policy changes any time soon – things should keep going as they've been going, and I'm looking forward to seeing the sub continue to thrive :)Best,
SciresM (and the rest of the ReSwitched team).
