HDB Resale Flash Report in July 2024: There were 120 million-dollar flats sold, surpassing 100 transactions for the first time.

Year-to-date total HDB resale transactions is at 543, already exceeding last year’s overall total of 470.

3,049 flats were transacted, marking a 39.6% increase from June and the highest volume since June 2010.

Starting August with a bang, there were three record-breaking million-dollar HDB resale transactions in Hougang, Geylang, and Queenstown.

Notably, the Hougang and Geylang transactions involve older developments with lease decay, but their proximity to Kovan and Dakota MRT stations has significantly contributed to their high resale value.

Rental Flash Report in July 2024: Condo rental prices surge 35.1% month-on-month, HDB rental prices rise despite volume drop by 11.6% year-on-year.

In July 2024, there was a modest 0.9% increase in condo rental prices, and transaction volumes have notably risen.

Whereas HDB rents saw a 1.4% increase from June 2024 although the year-on-year rental volumes decreased by 11.6%.
