Shoko Asahara founded Aum Shinrikyo (roughly, "religion of truth") in 1987. In March 1995, members of Aum Shinrikyo attacked the Tokyo Subway System with Sarin nerve gas. Thirteen people died and thousands suffered injuries from the after-effects. After an intense investigation, evidence indicated that Shoko Asahara was the mastermind behind the attack.
This album is a collection of two songs produced by Aum Shinrikyo, and presumably sung by Asahara, to promote their group and philosophy. Shoko Asahara was sentenced to death in 2004, and his final appeal was dismissed in 2006.
