๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ÿ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ:The location of the poles is not fixed, however, as the axis moves due to changes in how the Earthโ€™s mass is distributed around the planet. Thus, the poles move when the axis moves, and the movement is called โ€œPolar Motionโ€.
๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐Ÿ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ: Normally, it is caused by changes in the hydrosphere, atmosphere, oceans or solid Earth. Faster ice melting under global warming and unsustainable consumption of groundwater for irrigation and for other anthropogenic activities also contribute to it, according to latest studies.
