🌐 Path to Becoming a Web Development Pro 🚀

Becoming a web pro takes a strategic approach and dedicated practice. Here are my top steps to mastering web development from the ground up:

1- Master the Basics 🛠
Start with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Focus on creating simple, responsive pages. These are your building blocks for everything ahead.

2- Get Comfortable with Version Control 🔄
Learn Git and GitHub to manage your code efficiently. Version control is key when working with teams or contributing to open-source.

3- Dive into Advanced JavaScript 🔍
Once the basics feel solid, explore ES6+, asynchronous programming, and popular frameworks like React or Vue. JavaScript will unlock powerful, dynamic features on the web.

4- Understand Back-End Basics ⚙️
Learn a server-side language (like Node.js with Express) and get familiar with databases (MySQL, MongoDB). This knowledge will make you a versatile, full-stack developer.

5- Build, Build, Build 🔨
Projects are where you’ll apply your skills. Try cloning popular websites, building an e-commerce platform, or creating an interactive portfolio site.

6- Work with Real-World APIs 🌐
Get hands-on with APIs—integrate them into your projects. Whether it’s a weather app or a payment gateway, understanding APIs will help you build real-world applications.

7- Deploy Your Work ☁️
Learn about hosting and deployment. Push your projects live using services like GitHub Pages, Vercel, or Netlify. Seeing your work online is a great motivator!

Stay Consistent 📅
Set aside daily or weekly time for coding and learning new skills. Follow tutorials, read documentation, and join developer communities to stay updated.

Remember, web development is all about continuous improvement and learning from real projects. Keep challenging yourself, and you’ll see progress in no time! 💪

Happy Coding! 😎

1000 ETB says harris is gonna win,
who's gonna take the other side of the bet?
Build a Kamala vs. Trump betting website. Integrate Stripe (or another option) so people can deposit money and place bets, then share on X (yes, Twitter 😅). The app should be simple: a countdown to the result release, and if there's an API available, integrate it to show live results.
Also, add a shareable card/link so users can invite others to bet.

Tech stack: Next.js + V0. Since Stripe isn’t an option, try using PayPal. 😁
for api this might help ig ( not sure tho ) : API_LINK

Don't Eat the Dessert Before the Meal
______

Many people struggle to keep up with new tech trends like Next.js, Hono, and Shadcn. However, I personally recommend learning the basics of earlier frameworks, such as React, Express, jQuery, and plain JavaScript (or the core language itself) first. While this approach can be more challenging, it's incredibly valuable.

Let me share my experience. Whenever I feel burned out, I go to LeetCode and solve an “easy”labeled problem. This trick helps me boost my confidence 😊 and makes me feel like a “senior” developer! for a while hhh

Here are a few tips to help you along the way:

➡️ Explore older YouTube channels or websites like freeCodeCamp, GeeksforGeeks, or W3Schools. These resources can help you understand foundational methods and how they’ve evolved.

➡️ Take your time and build as many projects as you can.

➡️ Get involved in a community that inspires you. Share what you're working on, or teach friends—both are great ways to reinforce your knowledge.

I guarantee that once you reach an intermediate level with React, reading the Next.js documentation will be much enough to help you build apps with it, just as you did with React.
its interesting to see habeshan developer on top of search result. i think "Asabeneh" did his best to teach beginners.
