We all know that trying to memorize code is a bad idea… but somehow, we all make this mistake when it comes to java. 😂
"public static void main(String[] args)"
At this point, we’re not writing it we’re reciting it from memory. 😭

CapScroll Scrolling Screenshots for Linux
i built CapScroll, a Linux desktop screenshot tool for capturing long, scrollable content.
Select a region and CapScroll automatically scrolls the content, captures successive frames, detects the bottom, checks frame overlap, and stitches everything into one long screenshot.
- region capture
- scrolling capture
» Built with .NET 10 and Avalonia UI.
» Currently supports Linux/X11.
» repo: https://github.com/netcrawlerr/CapScroll

Hey everyone, i built this app called Elet (ዕለት) and wanted to share it with the community. it’s a complete ethiopian orthodox spiritual companion.
it handles the exact 24-year bahire hasab liturgical calendar, 81-canon scriptures, fasting and penance tracking, and prayer alarms. i made sure everything is 100% offline-first and totally private, even adding biometric locks for spiritual journals.
i'm attaching a pic below so you can see how it looks. you can check out the site to download the latest apk or see the full source code on my github.
site: https://eletorthodox.vercel.app/
github repo: https://github.com/Joelorbit/Elet
would love to hear what you guys think, any issues and all welcomed!

Let’s Make Their New Year Brighter
Every September, I raise funds to support children who struggle to afford basic educational needs. This year, we’re taking it further by supporting Zewditu Orphanage Center, which I had the chance to visit a few months ago.
They’re well cared for, but holidays are still difficult. especially when it comes to making the kids feel happy and celebrated.
So, throughout Pagume, let’s give what we can. 80 birr can feed one child for a day. But even 10 birr matters.
Let’s put a smile on a child’s face this New Year. Let humanity be our New Year’s gift.

We keep saying:
“I'll enjoy life when I have money.”
“I'll travel when I'm successful.”
“I'll relax when everything is sorted.”
Bro... what if now is the part we're supposed to enjoy too?
Life is short. Don't spend all of it waiting for someday.
