Step by step, coding is becoming less about writing code and more about thinking beyond the codebase.
We used to spend hours typing syntax.
Now AI can autocomplete, refactor, debug, and even build features for us.
Maybe the real skill of the future isn’t memorizing code anymore.
It’s understanding systems, logic, product thinking, creativity, and knowing what should be built in the first place.
At this point, I can’t even confidently tell someone the “perfect” coding learning path anymore 😭
Things are changing exponentially.
But one thing I still believe:
don’t skip the basics… even if the whole world starts skipping them.
Because trends change fast.
Fundamentals survive every generation of tech.
Step by step, coding is becoming less about writing code and more about thinking beyond the codebase.
