🔹Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva conveyed his impressions of the visit he had just made to the People's Republic of China, paying particular attention to the Joint Statement in Support of the President of Russia's Initiative on Resuming Direct Talks between Russia and Ukraine on May 15 in Istanbul, adopted by China and Brazil during the trip. For his part, the President of Brazil intends to do everything possible so that the talks prove successful.

🔹Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to the authorities of Brazil and China for their sincere willingness to contribute constructively to the search for solutions to the conflict.

Vladimir Putin met with PSB Bank CEO Pyotr Fradkov

Pyotr Fradkov brought the President up to date on the bank's operations in the areas of providing banking services in defence procurement and financing defence contractors, as well as the bank's support programmes aimed at combat veterans and defence industry employees, including in particular preferential mortgages. The development of non-banking services, such as insurance or legal advice which is provided by the PSB Pravo programme, was addressed separately. Additionally, the PSB CEO reported on the operations of the PSB Market e-commerce company in Russia's new regions.
