🇷🇺🇰🇿 Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

🔹Some current issues pertaining to cooperation in the energy sector were discussed.

🔹Additionally, Vladimir Putin shared his assessments of the progress achieved in the dialogue between Russia and the United States.

🔹Both presidents emphasised the importance of the upcoming 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will naturally take part in the events to be held in Moscow to celebrate the occasion.

The President held a briefing session with permanent members of the Security Council to discuss ways to counter attempts to ensnare minors and young adults into crime

The President has approved a list of instructions following the March 18, 2025 meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

In particular, the Government was instructed to:

🔸ensure amendements are made to legislation to establish an approval procedure for transactions which result in individuals from unfriendly states acquiring real estate for conducting business activities in Russia, as well as the specific conditions for the exercise of repurchase rights by foreign investors for shares and stakes in the authorised capitals of business entities alienated by them after February 22, 2022, so as to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Russian citizens and entities which own these shares and stakes in the authorised capitals;

🔸establish and update on a regular basis a list of individuals from unfriendly states who ceased or reduced their business activities in Russia after February 22, 2022.

On April 22, talks will be held in Moscow between Vladimir Putin and Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said, who will be in Russia on a state visit

Main aspects of further development of the cooperation between Russia and Oman will be discussed, including trade and economy, finance and investment, and culture and humanitarian affairs. Some current international and regional issues will be addressed as well.
