At the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin wished the Russian people a happy National Flag Day. This holiday is celebrated in Russia on August 22.
The meeting addressed a range of current issues. In particular, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko gave a report on the development of child healthcare in Russia, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov presented the results of the previous school year and reported on public schools' preparations for the next one, and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak provided an update on the preferential programme of gas supply provision.

School No. 1 also known as the Hero of the Soviet Union Oleg Koshevoy Lyceum has been re-opened following major repairs in the city of Antratsit, Lugansk People's Republic. A new 250-pupil school will now start accepting enrollment in the ulus of Nur-Seleniye, Ivolginsky District, Republic of Buryatia.

🔸Vladimir Putin and Nikol Pashinyan continued their discussion of issues related to the normalisation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including in view of the Russian President’s recent talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his state visit to Baku. The Russian side reaffirmed its commitment to further assisting Armenia and Azerbaijan in developing a peace agreement, advancing the process of delimitation and demarcation of the border, as well as in unblocking transport and logistical ties in the region.
🔸During the exchange of views on the bilateral agenda, the parties highlighted the positive dynamics in trade and economic interaction.
🔸It was agreed to continue their contacts.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the commanders of the Joint Force grouping at one of the Defence Ministry's command posts and received reports from Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff Sergei Rudskoy, on efforts to counter the enemy forces that invaded the Kursk Region and measures taken to destroy them, as well as on the ongoing results of the special military operation.
The President heard over telephone the reports of the commanders of groups of forces on the operational situation in the areas of their responsibility.
