The President instructed Emergencies Minister to promptly fly to Orenburg Region
Vladimir Putin was briefed on the situation in Orsk by Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler who is at the site of the flooding. Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov reported on the situation in the flooded area and measures being taken.
The President instructed Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Natural Disaster Relief Alexander Kurenkov to promptly fly to the zone of natural disaster to organise all the necessary works.

The President also listened to reports by the heads of agencies involved in providing emergency relief to people in the affected regions.
