The President spoke at the expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Highlights:

🔸The Eurasian Economic Union has proven effective amidst new challenges, including those related to the sanctions policy that certain countries pursue.

🔸We are taking consistent efforts to fine-tune EAEU institutions and mechanisms, which allows us to adapt to changes and dynamically evolve despite the crisis developments in the global economy.

🔸Tangible results have been achieved in creating a favourable investment climate in the EAEU space. The work was facilitated by decisions on investment protection, support of business, and guarantees of entrepreneurs’ rights.

🔸 We have put extensive effort to promote industrial cooperation, enhance import substitution and boost technological sovereignty of the EAEU member states, and continue to do so.

🔸The partnership between the association members states in transport and logistics expands each year, with mutual cargo traffic growing rapidly. The project for the major International North–South Transport Corridor, which will allow our countries to ship products directly to the ports on the coast of the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean, is fully underway.

🔸The Eurasian Economic Union and our integration activities are attracting an increasing number of international players. Many foreign states and major regional structures are seeking to develop ties with our association.
