Студия Accusonus представила плагин Accusonus Rhythmiq, представляющий собой инструмент для создания битов на основе машинного обучения. Плагин оснащается умным движком, который генерирует бесконечное множество самых разнообразных ритмов.
Как и большинство разработок Accusonus, Rhythmiq предлагает простой и понятный интерфейс. В сердце плагина находится виртуальный помощник Beat Assistant, работающий в трёх режимах — IQ Evolve, IQ Arrange и IQ Reverse. Режимы работают параллельно, а пользователи самостоятельно могут выбрать, звучание какого режима будет преобладать в итоговом сигнале. Каждый режим связан с собственным аудиофайлом, который нужно выбрать перед началом работы.
Движок автоматически нарезает загруженное аудио на небольшие отрезки, после чего алгоритм машинного обучения анализирует состав каждого отрезка. В дальнейшем пользователи могут менять длительность нот, приостанавливать отдельные аудиофайлы, исключать определённые отрезки из воспроизведения. С помощью машинного обучения плагин находит сбивки и билд-апы в загруженном аудио и может автоматически расставить их в рамках бита. По словам разработчиков, сохранённые сбивки и биты открывают доступ к импровизации и джемам с использованием Accusonus Rhythmiq.
Плагин поддерживает работу с MIDI и содержит собственную настраиваемую схему мэппинга звуков. Благодаря этому плагин можно использовать для исполнения партий ударных или проигрывания заранее подготовленных битов. Более того, Rhythmiq может проанализировать MIDI-дорожку ударных и разнообразить её новыми звуками и сбивками на основе заданных настроек. Разработчики отмечают, что все предлагаемые искусственным интеллектом изменения бита учитывают темп, характер бита и интенсивность всего трека.
Настроек не так много, как хотелось бы — Accusonus отмечают, что Rhythmiq больше про случайную генерацию битов, чем про работу по заранее определенным паттернам. Тем не менее плагин сохраняет историю сгенерированных битов, чтобы пользователь мог вернуться к ним в любой момент времени.

CASE contains 3 different microphone stems, which are divided into 2 Hall Mics (Mid, Room) and 1 Mixed Stem (Mix). The flexibility of multiple microphone positions allows you to dial in the perfect sound of your choice. In addition, CASE also comes with a wealth of custom convolution presets. Textural Convolution Delay
Textural Convolution Delay is a new way of using convolution to create textural delays. The idea is to use non-conventional convolution impulses to augment the existing sound. So when the instrument delays - you will not just get a normal delay of the instrument, but also get the delay and texture of the convolution. This concept is called Textural Convolutions.
Immediate Access and Stack Function
CASE Solo Winds comes with 8 core patched that holds dozens of articulations. Everything is neatly built into our custom browser, which holds several articulations at a time. The flexibility of multiple microphone positions allows you to dial in the perfect sound of your choice. In addition, CASE also comes with a wealth of custom convolution presets. Add new flavor to your sound.
Textural Convolution Delay
Textural Convolution Delay is a new way of using convolution to create textural delays. The idea is to use non-conventional convolution impulses to augment the existing sound. So when the instrument delays - you will not just get a normal delay of the instrument, but also get the delay and texture of the convolution. This concept is called Textural Convolutions.
Immediate Access and Stack Function
CASE Solo Winds comes with 8 core patched that holds dozens of articulations. Everything is neatly built into our custom browser, which holds several articulations at a time. This means you have immediate access to a large and diverse pool of effects. We also added our unique Stack function, which allows you to layer as many articulations as you want for larger effects. You can literally mix everything together.

Mobeus is a brand new amazing loop-based sample library and Kontakt instrument designed to create rhythmic patterns, pulses, grooves and textures. The sounds used are intended for a wide variety of projects and musical styles, but they are particularly suited to cinematic or experimental music where you need something unique, atmospheric, rich and with a contemporary feel.
Over 600 sounds were created from a combination of live recordings, analogue hardware, and digital processing. Many of the parts are from the creator Si Begg’s own personal library of sounds and have been trialled in trailers, scores and other compositions.
At its heart, Mobeus is a 3-channel sample player, with each channel playing one loop and with its own set of dedicated effects, Envelope. Pan, Pitch and Speed controls, LFOs and filters.

A perfect partner to CineBrass Core and Pro, CineBrass Descant Horn expands the range of the Horn section. Pro horn players often pull out this instrument for delicate higher passages and it's great for soaring solos. Like CineBrass Core and Pro, CineBrass Descant Horn was recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.
What is the Descant Horn?
The Descant Horn and French Horn have a similar structure. The Descant Horn does not have the low F side of a regular horn, but it does have the high F side. Specifically, the tubes are only 6 feet long rather than 12 feet long as on a standard French horn. So, the harmonic series is offset by an octave above the normal F2 on a standard horn.
What is the range difference between the Descant Horn and French Horn?
The ranges of the horns are basically the same, although you can extend the Descant Horn to an A or Ab rather than stopping at an F on a regular horn. So, although the Descant Horn doesn't necessarily go higher, the timbre of the higher register is offset by an octave allowing more agility in the upper register.
What is unique about this Descant Horn?
The horn we sampled is a dual-bore Bb/High F. Therefore, moving between the bore for the Bb side to the high F is sonically seamless. The difference in size between the Descant Horn we sampled and other single bore Descant Horns is substantial, accounting for the double bore. It also allows the performer increased agility while switching between the sides.
For this reason, a single-bore Descant Horn doesn't sound as good as a double-bore from about middle C down. Even middle C to a high C above middle C would sound more shallow and it wouldn’t have the rich royal sound of the dual-bore Descant Horn.
How does the Descant Horn sound compared to a French Horn?
The upper register is more strident on a regular horn, whereas the upper register sounds easier and lighter on the Descant Horn. An analogy would be the comparison between a regular trumpet vs. a piccolo trumpet. Since the two instruments have basically the same range, the biggest difference is in the upper register. The piccolo trumpet has a less strident sound than a traditional trumpet.
Also, the Descant Horn is not going to be quite as deep - it's a little more shallow and delicate compared to the Low F of a French horn. But ideally, you wouldn't use a Descant Horn for its lower register since that’s not its sweet spot.
What is the advantage of the Descant Horn for the player?
When a passage is too high and required to be soft and delicate, the player can switch to the Descant Horn in order to reach those pitches more easily without having to pound so hard. From a player’s perspective, it makes upper register passages much easier to play and much more accurate.

A perfect partner to CineBrass Core and Pro, CineBrass Descant Horn expands the range of the Horn section. Pro horn players often pull out this instrument for delicate higher passages and it's great for soaring solos. Like CineBrass Core and Pro, CineBrass Descant Horn was recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.
What is the Descant Horn?
The Descant Horn and French Horn have a similar structure. The Descant Horn does not have the low F side of a regular horn, but it does have the high F side. Specifically, the tubes are only 6 feet long rather than 12 feet long as on a standard French horn. So, the harmonic series is offset by an octave above the normal F2 on a standard horn.
What is the range difference between the Descant Horn and French Horn?
The ranges of the horns are basically the same, although you can extend the Descant Horn to an A or Ab rather than stopping at an F on a regular horn. So, although the Descant Horn doesn't necessarily go higher, the timbre of the higher register is offset by an octave allowing more agility in the upper register.
What is unique about this Descant Horn?
The horn we sampled is a dual-bore Bb/High F. Therefore, moving between the bore for the Bb side to the high F is sonically seamless. The difference in size between the Descant Horn we sampled and other single bore Descant Horns is substantial, accounting for the double bore. It also allows the performer increased agility while switching between the sides.
For this reason, a single-bore Descant Horn doesn't sound as good as a double-bore from about middle C down. Even middle C to a high C above middle C would sound more shallow and it wouldn’t have the rich royal sound of the dual-bore Descant Horn.
How does the Descant Horn sound compared to a French Horn?
The upper register is more strident on a regular horn, whereas the upper register sounds easier and lighter on the Descant Horn. An analogy would be the comparison between a regular trumpet vs. a piccolo trumpet. Since the two instruments have basically the same range, the biggest difference is in the upper register. The piccolo trumpet has a less strident sound than a traditional trumpet.
Also, the Descant Horn is not going to be quite as deep - it's a little more shallow and delicate compared to the Low F of a French horn. But ideally, you wouldn't use a Descant Horn for its lower register since that’s not its sweet spot.

CineBrass PRO has been rebuilt from the ground up to include the Cinesamples Adaptive Legato Engine featured in CineStrings SOLO, CineStrings CORE, and CineWinds CORE and PRO. It allows you to tailor the legato response to your own playing style, and is designed to respond musically to your performance. The engine detects your playing speed and intelligently adjusts the interval speed to match. This means you can play slow, expressive lines and fast runs in a single performance, without touching the speed dial. Additionally, the intensity parameter responds to velocity.
NEW MAPPING TAB
CineBrass PRO includes a brand new mapping area that allows for greater flexibility in customizing composer workflows. The new mapping system allows for articulations to be blended together, using polyphonic keyswitching or overlapping velocity/CC ranges. This allows for even more flexibility for tailoring CineBrass PRO to your individual needs. You may add articulations using the + Add Articulation + button and subtract articulations using the X on the right. The ACCENTED LEGATO control layers an additional articulation (Marcato, Staccato, Spiccato) over legato transitions.

Hollywood’s current first chairs recorded in the unequaled space of Sony’s MGM Scoring Stage by famed engineer Dennis Sands. This quartet of soloists (trumpet, Horn in F, trombone and tuba) received full treatment including true legato, shorts and multiple dynamic layers. You will immediately be startled by the sheer power, expressiveness and clarity produced by these master virtuosos. Under the direction of esteemed composer/violinist Michael Levine came a set of perfectly cinematic FX designed for practical realization in your sequencer. In the vein of the ever popular cineorch comes a complete palette of chords voiced by the different brass choirs culminating in a super-sized “low brass chords” sure to garner some attention. For Leeds Musical Instrument Rentals in North Hollywood, it was just a simple method of cataloging their instruments by stenciling letters on the cases of the electric pianos. One of their electric pianos in particular took notice by producers and session players, the one marked with the letter "E". It wasn't long before the "E" became one of the most highly sought-after electric pianos in the LA studio scene in the '70s and '80s, being featured in countless hit songs and albums. It got to the point where the "E" had to be scheduled months in advance for tracking dates.
Its sound is remarkable: the low end is clear and defined, and it has a sweet, bell-like tone in the register an octave above middle C. The inventor of the electric piano himself referred to the "E" as the best electric piano he had ever heard.
Until now, the "E" model electric piano has never been sampled before.
Determined to share its beautiful, pristine tone, George Mamalakis, the owner of the "E" electric piano, began sampling it. As a seasoned Jazz pianist who actively uses virtual instruments in his performance setup, George Mamalakis is well-acquainted with the depth of sampling necessary to recreate the dynamic, nuanced sound of the "E". Beginning in 2015, with the guidance of Jay Graydon, Grammy award winning producer, recording engineer, composer, and recording artist, George began the long undertaking of meticulously sampling the "E" electric piano. To assist in the process, George invented a mechanical device which he named VERA, which is able to mimic the human motion of striking each key, but at very precise dynamics. Each key was sampled with 18 velocity layers, with each note's natural decay into complete silence.
Since 2017, Orange Tree Samples has been working with George and Jay to produce the playable instrument using the Kontakt platform. Orange Tree Samples is known for their innovative scripting in sample libraries, and this library is no exception. We added a lot of exciting options to customize the tone of the electric piano, including a detailed model of the instrument's built-in tremolo, several chorus models that use custom DSP, and a flexible modular effects rack.
We're excited to present the resulting virtual recreation of the instrument, The Famous E Electric Piano, so that you too can enjoy the experience of playing the "E" electric piano.

For Leeds Musical Instrument Rentals in North Hollywood, it was just a simple method of cataloging their instruments by stenciling letters on the cases of the electric pianos. One of their electric pianos in particular took notice by producers and session players, the one marked with the letter "E". It wasn't long before the "E" became one of the most highly sought-after electric pianos in the LA studio scene in the '70s and '80s, being featured in countless hit songs and albums. It got to the point where the "E" had to be scheduled months in advance for tracking dates.
Its sound is remarkable: the low end is clear and defined, and it has a sweet, bell-like tone in the register an octave above middle C. The inventor of the electric piano himself referred to the "E" as the best electric piano he had ever heard.
Until now, the "E" model electric piano has never been sampled before.
Determined to share its beautiful, pristine tone, George Mamalakis, the owner of the "E" electric piano, began sampling it. As a seasoned Jazz pianist who actively uses virtual instruments in his performance setup, George Mamalakis is well-acquainted with the depth of sampling necessary to recreate the dynamic, nuanced sound of the "E". Beginning in 2015, with the guidance of Jay Graydon, Grammy award winning producer, recording engineer, composer, and recording artist, George began the long undertaking of meticulously sampling the "E" electric piano. To assist in the process, George invented a mechanical device which he named VERA, which is able to mimic the human motion of striking each key, but at very precise dynamics. Each key was sampled with 18 velocity layers, with each note's natural decay into complete silence.
Since 2017, Orange Tree Samples has been working with George and Jay to produce the playable instrument using the Kontakt platform. Orange Tree Samples is known for their innovative scripting in sample libraries, and this library is no exception. We added a lot of exciting options to customize the tone of the electric piano, including a detailed model of the instrument's built-in tremolo, several chorus models that use custom DSP, and a flexible modular effects rack.
We're excited to present the resulting virtual recreation of the instrument, The Famous E Electric Piano, so that you too can enjoy the experience of playing the "E" electric piano.
