We’ve been taught that self-trust comes from confidence.
That clarity arrives once we think harder or feel more certain.
In my work, I’ve actually seen the opposite - both through coaching clients and also receiving coaching myself.
Self-trust is built by taking the time to understand our patterns and creating the space to reduce external noise.
Most people aren’t lacking confidence. They just lack the space and tools to do so.
Sharing the full story of how one of my 1-1 client manage to make that breakthrough on the site ❤️🔥💪

The ultimate life hack is the ability to quickly reset and recover.
From a bad interaction.
From a bad day.
From a missed workout.
From a poor decision.
You can start over whenever you want.
You can't always control what happened, but you can control how long you carry it.

For a long time, I thought growth meant pushing forward.
But over time in my own life and in my coaching work, I learned that growth doesn’t ask for the same thing in every season.
There are times to build.
And there are times where pushing only creates more friction, even when everything looks fine on the outside.
That’s when I started thinking about growth in seasons.
Not as a straight line, but as cycles: times to move, times to reflect, times to integrate, and times to pause without needing to justify it.
I created a short 3 min reflection quiz to help you understand:
– the season you’re in
– the inner pattern shaping how you move through it.
If this resonates, you can find the link for the quiz here 💫

Don't ruminate, activate.
I find it is difficult to think my way into a better mood.
When I sit and stew, the problem usually grows larger in my mind.
But if I activate — even if it's unrelated to the problem at hand — my mood tends to improve.
Action breaks the spell.
Move your body, go outside, play an instrument, work in a different room, do something.
Movement changes your state. And when your state changes, your perspective changes.
New solutions appear.
You notice options that were invisible when your mind was stuck running the same loop.

Happy TGIF all!! 💫 I shared my reflections on the 2016 trend on my email newsletter recently.
If you missed it, here's an excerpt of it and you can read the full post in the link -
"Many of you might have seen the 2016 trend, where we look back at where we were 10 years ago.
Looking back at my 2016, I realized I don’t have that many photos I actually want to post. It’s not that I didn’t take them.
I did and still do take many pictures to help me remember my days better – but scrolling through now, most of them just don’t feel right to share.
I was wondering why and I think it was because 2016 represented a major shift in my life that I was trying to adapt to.
2016 was when I graduated. I was so excited to start working, mostly because I knew the management consulting job that I worked hard to get into would let me travel to places like India, Shanghai, Brazil.
Coming straight out of the structured bubble of school, that felt like success. Like I’d figured it out.
Back then, 2016 Nat had this very specific idea of what success looked like: climb the corporate ladder, get the promotions, do the thing everyone says you’re supposed to do and everything would be good. That was the plan."

Last Sunday, we had the first Community Social of 2026 :)
It is a small, intentional gathering for people in the 1-1 program - a chance to pause, connect, and be held by others on a similar path.
It reminded me that Neverdrift has always been about community since the very start.
And what I keep hearing after every social having done this for years is how rare it is to be in a room with people genuinely committed to growing.
There's a quote that keeps coming back to me: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
That's what this is really about - and I'm honored to hold this space for everyone as we grow in our respective journeys 💖
📌 Read more about why I created the space here and the reflection prompts for each group here:

It's so important to also know that your priorities can shift in seasons.
There may be a season where it's all about going out.
There may be a season where it's all about staying in.
There may be a season where it's all about building.
There may be a season where it's all about breakthrough.
It's up to you to define the season and the priorities that come with that season.

Shared my take of what the 4 seasons look like for me here. It might help you identify which season you are in :)
Happy beg of Feb - to a month of continued intentionality and meaningful connections 🌞

Sometimes you get what you want and it changes your life.
Sometimes you don't and that changes you in a different but equally important way.
Truth is, every outcome gives you something.
When it works out you gain progress, momentum and belief in what's possible.
When it doesn't you gain resilience, humility and clarity on what actually matters.
The wins build your confidence and the setbacks build your character. And both are necessary.
Not getting what you want doesn't mean you failed. It means life had a better teacher in mind.
And this is the essence of "pronoia" - the belief that the universe is secretly conspiring in your favour.
That life is working for you and that something good is always going to happen.

This desire for better friendships has surfaced a lot recently, especially as people reflect on who they’ve been and how they want to live going forward.
Many of us are still carrying friendships formed in past seasons of our lives.
And while there’s nothing wrong with that, it can quietly create loneliness when who we are now no longer feels reflected back to us.
I don’t think the answer is cutting people off or forcing change.
I think it starts with clarity - getting honest about who you are becoming and then placing yourself in environments where aligned connections can naturally form.
I’m still learning this too. But I’ve found that when we’re intentional, friendships begin to feel less draining and more nourishing.

The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life.
Ask "why is this happening to me?" and you're a victim.
Ask "what is this teaching me?" and you're a student.
Ask "how can I use this?" and you're a strategist.
Same situation, different lens, completely different life.

Most of what shapes how we relate, work, and live happens beneath the surface.
This is why change feels hard.
We try to change behaviour. But behaviour is driven by what we’re not aware of.
Awareness comes first and changes everything.
Master the Inner Game (102) is a space to explore the patterns that quietly run in the background — and learn how to work with them through emotional regulation and stress management techniques.
If this resonates, consider coming with someone you care about.
A partner. A friend. A bestie.
It might be the most meaningful Valentine’s gift you give each other :)

"The more I study happiness, the more I realise it comes down to one thing: living in alignment with what truly matters to you.
Not success.
Not stuff.
Just a life that feels like yours, where you wake up glad it's your day, where you'd choose your own life again if you could.
Where your joy isn't borrowed from someone else's approval, and your worth isn't hanging on what you achieve next.
Because anything less isn't really living."

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the different kinds of connections we need, especially with Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year around the corner.
There are seasons where depth matters most.
A few people who can hold us when things feel tender.
And seasons where breadth matters just as much.
Lightness. Shared spaces. Being around others without needing to explain everything.
What I’m learning is that it’s rarely one or the other.
Different seasons ask for different kinds of connections.
