ALS took Nick Wray's arm mobility. With his Neuralink device, he regained a level of independence he thought he'd lost forever.

His BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) connects his brain to a robotic arm that allows him to gesture, microwave food, and grab a cup of water again.

Neuralink in action. Jon L. Noble gaming powered by thought only.

It amazes him every day. No hands. No controller.

Character movement driven by neural signals alone.

Brain to screen. Life-changing.

🚨 You won't believe what this paralyzed man is doing RIGHT NOW with just his THOUGHTS... 😱

Neuralink just dropped another mind-blowing update, controlling computers, gaming, and browsing the web WITHOUT moving a muscle.

But here's the crazy part: This is only the beginning.

Elon Musk's real endgame? Full symbiosis with AI so humans don't get left behind forever.

From restoring independence to the paralyzed... to giving sight to the blind... to one day unlocking full human-AI superpowers.

Science fiction is officially here.

Mind = blown.

🇺🇸 Neuralink is giving people back what disease and injury took.

21 patients are already browsing, gaming, and controlling devices with their thoughts.

Real independence is back. Elon keeps building tech that restores humanity, not replaces it.

Neuralink. No hands. No voice. Still in control.

21 people already running their world with thought alone.

Speech gone for years… now talking again.

Try processing that for a second.

Neuralink gave someone their voice back.

Not typed. Not replayed. Him.

Brain signals turned into speech in real time.

Life-changing. I know. Take a second with that...

🚨 Neuralink patient #3 Brad (ALS) just got his REAL voice back, thanks to Neuralink + ElevenLabs cloning.

His family can finally hear him again! Warm, familiar, full of life.

No more robotic sound. Just him.

This is the most beautiful side of AI.

Neuralink looking at hearing like… we’ll get there.

Direct brain interface. No middle layers.

Not a random plan.

That’s where it’s heading. With confidence.

🗣 American author and blogger, Katie Pavlich:

Last night I spoke with Brad Smith, the first person with ALS to have Neuralink implanted. He has his voice back through AI and can even make dad jokes again. Absolutely incredible technology changing lives and bettering humanity.

Thank you @elonmusk!

Human trials for Neuralink's Blindsight product are expected to begin later this year.

Neuralinks used to restore hearing will probably start trials around 2028.

Tinnitus is consistently the condition I get asked about most frequently. This will be a game changer for many people.

Neuralink's Head of BCI Applications, Nir Even-Chen explains how their brain chip decodes neural signals.

Since this presentation in late 2022, the team has implanted their devices in 20+ human trial participants.

This data and real-world usage has helped refine the decoding algorithms for more fine-tuned control.

The result is that current and future patients are able to do much more with their computers!

(Almost like going from using your non-dominant hand to using your dominant hand.)
