Sometimes the best way to learn and interact with some awesome researchers is attend AI/ML schools, usually there are winter and summer schools and if they are in person they will cover your costs to attend them.
I came across this website recently but it will show some of these deadlines etc. You can maybe check it once in 2 weeks, I'm not sure if they update it on time though.
I'll post when the call is out but here are some summer schools and programs you should apply for in the coming 3-4 months.
- African Computer Vision Summer School 2025
- The annual Deep Learning Indaba 2025
- Tropical Probabilistic AI School
- Oxford ML school (virtual)

This week I'm attending Neurips (Neural Information Processing Systems) in Canada and it's been great so far, finally got some faces for some people i know. I'll share more stuff throughout the week on some cool things here.

Attending Neurips has always been in my list and will continue to be. If you like ML research this is a great one. I also presented my paper there, attended hundreds of posters. And so many people like Yoshua Bengio, Fei-Fei Li, François Chollet, Ilya Sutskever, Yann LaCun, Noam Brown were here and you can just walk by one of them.
Next year it will be in the π sunny San Diego, California. I'm hoping to be there and probably I'll see one of you :).
And finally Vancouver is the best. Discovered cool places with @pi_314159265 and he's simply an amazing guy, learned lots of things on the way too.
